Enjoy Your Hike

In January 2020, I began interviews with my client about his hiking adventure on the John Muir Trail in September 2019. We did six interviews over nine months, and in between I wrote the transcripts and translated them into the first draft of our novella. The rest of 2020 was spent with me writing drafts and my client providing notes for revisions. I designed the cover with a picture my client took on the trail and formatted the interior of the book in Indesign. In 2021 I printed the first version of the 64-page novella titled Enjoy Your Hike, a phrase my client used to sign off the videos he took during the trip. Two versions later, we finally had a keepsake novella my client is happy to be able to share with many generations to come.
